The grumpy biker is claiming his bride! šŸ”„

🄰 Hi there! Have you had a good week so far?

I’m putting the finishing touches to Grumpy Biker’s Bride, the second book in the Seven Brides for Seven Bikers series. In the first book, I introduced the bikers and the danger hanging over High Vale from the corrupt Rotmere corporation. But this time, we get to see more of the town’s cozy side. There’s Marvin’s diner, small-town gossip, and an engagement party for Striker and Bethany from Bad Boy Biker’s Bride… all wrapped around the heart of the book: Hawk and Taryn’s grumpy/sunshine love story.

And Hawk is exactly the kind of hero I can’t resist writing. Sarcastic, covered in tattoos and a big ol’ grump. He’s an ex-military ranger working undercover at High Vale Lodge for the Outlaws MC. But the moment he sees a mail order bride stranded and alone, all bets are off. He falls fast, hard, and is completely obsessed with her.

I’m meant to be someone else’s bride. But the big grumpy biker has other plans…
I arrive in High Vale to meet the man I’m supposed to marry, but he doesn’t show up.
A grumpy ex-military biker covered in tattoos finds me instead. Hawk’s built like the mountains he protects. The kind of man who looks at me once and decides I’m staying right by his side.
The longer I stay, the clearer it becomes. This pretty small town isn’t what it seems. The corporation owns everything and asking questions gets dangerous.
Even though every part of my body lights up when Hawk’s around, I’m not his… I’m here for someone else.
But Hawk’s not the kind of man to give back what he’s claimed.

šŸ˜ My friend Haley Travis has a sizzling new release in the Hollow Peak Mountain Men series called Ranger of Hollow Peak.

An emergency search leads to a gruff, sexy Forest Ranger finding the kind of woman he's been craving for years.
I rarely ask for help. Asking a gorgeous, hulking older man for assistance is the smartest thing I could have done – he not only saves my brothers, but saves me from having to leave this beautiful town.
Nate seems to have… a craving, I guess, for a woman exactly like me. Meticulous. Dedicated. A bit of a loner like him. Yet we both feel this deep hunger for each other. A wild electrical current that pulls us together too fast.
I swear it’s not his soulful, magnetic eyes that make me so eager to share his bed. (Well, yes. And those shoulders that make him look like he could lift the mountain itself.) Mainly it’s the way he makes me feel like anything is possible.
He already protects me. Cares for me. Can he give me the strength to get away from my family so I can prove we’re destined to be together?

šŸ’— Have a great rest of the day and a wonderful weekend!
Jessa xx

🌱 P.S. I’ve been staring at my overgrown garden (which is really a tiny yard) and procrastinating about clearing it up. My first step is buying some begonias, now I just need to plant them! Are you a green thumb or more of a plant-killer? Do you have a favorite flower? Conveniently for a romance author, my favorite are roses, but I also like peonies, tulips, wisteria and sunflowers. 🌻
